Farah Khan was repeatedly accused of being involved in ‘corruption’ by opposition leaders
Farah Khan, a close acquaintance of former first lady Bushra Bibi, has left for Dubai following the dissolution of the National Assembly in the wake of the no-trust move against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In addition to Farah, other leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have also started to leave for abroad, Express News reported.
According to sources in the PTI, Farah left for Dubai today (Sunday), adding that her husband also resides in the Emirati state.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari as well as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice-President Maryam Nawaz mentioned Farah Khan several times recently and accused her of being involved in corruption.
Responding to the accusations, outgoing prime minister Imran's close aide Shehbaz Gill had said that Maryam had begun to target Bushra's friend after she couldn't find the grounds to criticise her.

According to him, Farah did not held any public post nor was she a member of the PTI.
Earlier today, the Cabinet Division issued a notification, de-notifying Imran Khan as the prime minister of Pakistan after the president dissolved the National Assembly following a summary was sent by the premier in the wake of a no-trust move against him.
Under Article 94 of the Constitution, President Alvi directed the premier to continue to perform his duties as the chief executive of the country until the caretaker prime minister is appointed, Express News reported.
The Cabinet Division also issued a notification to dissolve the 52-member federal cabinet. The Cabinet Division also notified 25 federal ministers and four ministers of state.
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri dismissed the no-confidence motion submitted by the joint opposition to dislodge the prime minister as he termed it "unconstitutional" under Article 5.
